On the stage of a destroyed theater, Elizabeth, Mercedes and Chrysalis, three black women of different ages, relive and reinterpret their stories, conflicts and losses, using inner monologues, boleros and dance memories.

Biography Director Everlane Morales :

Is a Brazilian filmmaker graduate from the INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL of CINEMA and TV (EICTV) in Cuba, specialized in documentary. She is creative director at the production company PÀTTÀKI AUDIOVISUAL and an associate at APAN – Association of Black Audiovisual Professionals. She was awarded with WILLIAM GRAVES FILM FUND (USA) on FIRELIGHT MEDIA (2020), IDFA BERTHA FUND 2021, SUNDANCE 2021 and GÖTEBORG FILM FUND 2021. Her films move between different genres and formats, highlighting the social, philosophical and spiritual issues of the black diaspora. Her last film PÀTTÀKI was premiered in ROTTERDAM and shown in SUNDANCE, BFI, among others.
